I don't understand- is this a real photo of Twain or not? Off the top of my head, I'd say it appears that D. Thomson superimposed a Mark Twain photo with a photo of a banjo. Did Twain play the banjo? I'd like to believe he did, but I don't remember ever hearing it said.
