IMO, It's not right to judge by just one radio program, plus the format has always been laid back. Never heard of any of them being billed as a "concert" before.
I've been listening to Mudcat Radio since Max first started with just Bert, MaryMac, and the elves there. Some shows were exceptional, some were great, and some were a little lackluster, but not many of us claim to be professionals. We were mainly doing it to share with one another.
Davey, if you want to hear some really talented Mudcatters AND have it be fairly quiet, with decent internet quality, please join us in Paltalk some Sunday. You can find info on it in the Mudcat FAQs permathread.
