Damn! I just went to my folk reference library and went over and over my collection of 1960s-era mass market paperbacks. I learned the song, c. 1966, from one of them, but I can't seem to find the right book, so I can't give you any reference. I'll keep looking. It might be in a pile rather than on the shelf.
