I noticed you mentioned triplets before. As I indicated, I don't know the real rights or wrongs - just how tunes sound to me... but in the MIDI above (sound file - I didn't copy that much of the score), I used "proper" triplets which sounded fine to me - there was no adjusting of note durations on my Cakewalk attempt for those.
