Thread Name: Lyr Req: Weapon of Prayer (Louvin Brothers)
Subject: Wartime Song
I have had luck here in finding lyrics to old songs. I told a friend about this site and they wanted me to see if anyone knew the name or any more lyrics of this song. Evidently it was popular during World War II. Some of the words are:

Many thousand miles away,
Someone sheds their blood today.
To a land so brave and true they've gone,
To a war that's yours and mine,
Let us join the battle line.
Let us trust and use the weapon of prayer.

When the men and tanks and guns
Have done all that they can do,
And the mighty bombs have rained and fell.
There's a helpful hand above
And its weapon’s made of love...

Then the chorus is something like:

You don't have to be a soldier in a uniform
To be of service over there.
While the boys so bravely stand
With their weapons made by man,
Let us trust and use the weapon of prayer.

I tried the search and did not find anything. Thanks!
