It was a marvelous evening last night - a buzz in many respects that I haven't had in a very long time, and, sorely needed. *G*

It's very hard for me to put into words the range of emotions in experiencing these two gentlemen. Perhaps Mick has summed it up best with the so-eloquently-stated- on-more-than-one-occasion, "close friends that you just haven't met" - till now.

The two of them personify the word class.

There was enough musical electricity in the air last night both at the radio station and then later at the Transac, to heat my home for a year!

It was an honor and privilege to have not only met Mick and Jed, but also catter Marion as well as seeing Jeremiah, Davey and Peter once again, and to have been included in Jed's radio show. The man is an enormous talent both in his music, lyrics, soul, and that fine fine pickin' work, all wrapped up in that quiet, understated elegance.

The three of them (Mick, Jed and Rick) seem to have a monopoly on charisma. When these guys are in a room you just want to be near them.

I sincerely hope we can have get togethers like this more frequently, and again thank you so much for a wonderful evening and Mudcat event, and especially thanks to Max for having made situations like this possible.
