Actually Roger, most of what I sang that evening was American, not English:

"Blue-Eyed Boy" is trad. American from the singing of Lilly Mae Ledford via Julie Henigan. "The Federal Soldier" and my version of "I Wish I Had Someone to Love Me" are both trad. American with some Irish in their pedigrees. "Fountain Filled With Blood" is an American songwriter, based on the trad. American hymn. Only "Childe Owlett" (Child 291) was English (adapted from from the singing of Maddy Prior).
