My buddy's wife called and invited me to supper yesterday. Now, was she trying to find out if am seeing anyone, feeling sorry for me because I am not seeing anyone, trying to "remind" me that I am not seeing anyone, trying to set me up with one of her single friends ? Nosy bitch !

Anyway, I declined because I had something very special to do... I had a Valentines's Day coupon for two scallop dinners for the price of one at a fancy restaurant. I showed up at 4PM, in my dirty work clothes, and asked if I could use the coupon for takeout because I didn't have time to get cleaned up so I could dine with my sweetheart, who, I indicated, was out thar in th' pickup, before work. Delicious. The second one will be in the microwave tonight. And the materdee was some happy to help out, too. Nice fella. Ahhh, fine dinnin' bachelor style.
