Hi all;

I will be presenting a paper at an academic conference (on travel writing in Ireland and the UK), at the University of Aberdeen June 21-22. I hope to be able to turn this into a longer trip; heading south to Avebury just after the solstice, maybe to Glastonbury, and Oxfordshire. I might fly into the UK on or before June 15th, since the flights are cheaper. If I can manage it, I also want to stay on to attend a conference on sacred sites in Yorkshire, July 6-7...that would be a nice long lovely trip! Also, I have been wanting to hike the Ridgeway and this might be a good time to do that if there are a few days of good weather I can camp out in.

If any Mudcatters want to hook up for a drink, or offer me a place to sleep (!!! me being an underpaid teacher and all) let me know. I have friends who will be living in London for the summer so will probably stay with them at some point, but would hope to hook up with Micca and Liz the Squeak and whoever else is around...

BTW, speaking of travelling, I am moving to new digs in Boston and will now have a guest room, so any visitors now have an option there a
