I hope that perfomers will think about adding "He Was A Friend OF Mine" to their repertoire in tribute.
I saw him a number of times in venues large (for folk music) and small. My favourite memory of him was going "backstage" (or whatever passed for such in the small locale) and finding him between sets immersed in an old book. Always the student -- and always the teacher as well, I understand.
He will be sorely missed. I can't imagine anyone else doing "Go Down Hannah" quite like him -- he made that song just sneak out and _grab_ ya.
And to lose Waylon the same week. Sad.
