Not that I don' think it's a good idea, but what about the paramedics? The cops? All the people who's JOB it is to protect and serve?

Seems to me, FIREFIGHTERS day excludes a hell of a lot of people who deserve JUST as much recognition...

Doctors and Nurses.. good call that too...

How about teachers? Have you seen the state of highschools these days? They are braver men and women than I am, that's fer certain!
