Well, gee... Thanks to all who've restored my faith! I appreciate the comments. Bill D., I well remember Wolf Trap '76 (the Canadian govt sent me down as one of Canada's gifts to the Bicentennial), and what a wonderful bunch of folk I met! Eberhart for one, and Helen Schneyer (sp?) and on and on... Eberhart was working for a science outfit and brought down some of the first photos of ?Jupiter from the flyby mission. One of the Newfoundlanders who made the trip was Wilf Wareham - I recall he hadn't come across horseradish before and thought a big bowl of it was tuna. Laugh? I nearly bought me own beer! Again, thanks to all the comments - what a nice bunch of folks you all are!
