Art: Why wait until someone asks a question about something that interests you? As you observed, people do die off... and their knowledge and wisdom die off with them. Suppose someone posts a question, after you're gone, for which you now have the definitive answer and a wealth of information. Is it just too bad for him that he didn't ask soon enough? To my mind, it will be too bad – a great loss – if you don't post those "things in your head" now so that they'll always be the disposal of anyone who needs your answers at any time in the future.

Besides, who knows how many other visitors here are waiting for someone else to say something on a subject they know about, before they jump in? Somebody has to go first. Why not you?
