you'll probably be able to find street performers around the quarter.... depending on which day of the week you go.....

Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and a jazz funeral will be going on that day! That's the way I wanna go....

Anyways, have fun and enjoy! Not only music, but see if you can get to some of the sights also.... Above ground cemeterys, Louis B. Armstrong Park, Bourbon street of course....

just a thought, perhaps Preservation Hall does stuff during the day.... Its in the Quarter semi-near the docks if I remember correctly(i might not) they have their own jazz band, and will play outside in a quartet feel when the weather's nice.
