I hope this doesn't count as a thread hi-jack, but while congatulating the Canadians, may I ask you to spare the odd cheer for the British Women's Curling Team. The final went down to the last stone of the 10th end, believe me it was a nail biter. As was mentioned on the (British) TV coverage, a recent author made some comment that curling had been included to allow "non-athletes" to contend , Hmmm, strikes me that said author has never tried repetedly sending a 44lb granite block down the ice for three hours at a time.
