A song that really grabbed me recently is a rendition of "My Bonnie" which is sung by Laura Smith on the CD "Fire in the Kitchen".. The line which grabbed my attention goes something like this..

" Soon there will be no differance between the land and the water, I can walk out on the ice to places I've never seen. When I get as far as I can go, I'll turn and throw my cares over my shoulder, along with your memory, and let them float down the Gulf Stream."

Having spent a winter or two in the Canadian Maritimes, I could picture someone doing just that.
