My only other advice Sinner... Is to shoot the bucks it's gonna cost to take this beast somewhere and have it cleaned, and then reinstall all yer software...Some viri will hide in memory during a reformat even, and are VERY hard to get rid of...
If that's infact what it is... and there are a few folks here, ones who seem to know what their talking about who seem fairly certain that might be yer problem...
From my own experience, an error message like "stack fault in module WSOCK32.DLL" can sometimes be address with a reinstall of just your OS without reformatting... Either by DELTREEing the WINDOWS directory, or by 'soft installing'... that is popping in yer CD and reinstalling your OS right over the old install...
