What a hockey Game!!! Both teams played textbook hockey, it was fast, clean, the officiating was good and Canada came out on top.

I don't think non-Canadians can have any sense of what hockey means in this country. The game has been over for over an hour and a half, they are still celebrting in the streets. This is the First Gold that we have won in men's hockey in 50 years.

My father has retired to Ireland, he called me and he's still shaking. Don't let the final score fool you, this was a much closer game than it would indicate.

What a treat to see the finest players in North America assembled on the larger Olympic ice surface.

Cudos to both teams, the Americans played a wonderful game too.

Now I remember why I love this game.
