Thank you for the advice. We're just pretty darned excited. I'll take some flack over this, but the majority of Canadians will tune into the Olympics, cheer for the various events, but hockey. Hockey is Our game, and frankly, we haven't had the greatest success on the world stage in many years. I went to bed almost 5 hours after the game ended, and there were still horns honking and people cheering in Downtown Whitby.

With all due respect to the other athletes, this sort of behaviour doesn't happen when we win a gold in another event.
