Mullet-lovers in Mudcatland might like to know that the Coolin / An Chuilfhionn refers to a hairstyle popular among young men in, I think, the 18th century which sounds dangerously like a Gaelic version of the mullet - short in the front and sides, with a long piece hanging down the back.
