Did anyone hear Gretzky after the game talking about the coin in the ice? Apparently the folks responsible for putting in the ice were Canadian and there was a Canadian coin embedded in the ice for luck. It was in there the whole time. They dug out the coin after the game to send it to the Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame. Pretty neat story but it seems to me the luck was not necessary considering how well the Canadians played. Of course, just for giggles, I wouldn't mind borrowing the coin and taking a trip to Las Vegas!!
