Someone told me that I don't have to worry if I just store e-mail addresses in my AOL account address book. But I just checked, and found out that I can even access it when I'm not on-line, which leads me to think that this address book is stored on my hard drive rather than with AOL. So now I'm concerned about it. I like to use this function because my brain is sometimes a bit unreliable and I'm concerned about typing an address incorrectly and sending an e-mail to a total stranger.
Does anyone know if keeping addresses in my AOL address book is as risky as having them in some other location on my hard drive?
