You will find a lot of Catholics in Scotland, and if you are of the Protestant persuasion you may wish to devote your energies to helping Catholics to find a better relationship with Christ. Obviously you are interested in music, and will know its immense power for good. I suggest you learn the song "The sash my father wore" which has proved amazingly good for reaching out to Catholics (I can't do blue clickies but you should be able to find the words and music very easily). Go to Glasgow, a lovely little crofting village surrounded by lochs, glens and mountains where the skirl of the pipes is never far away.find a Catholic pub and go and sing them that song, you will be amazed at the reception you'll get.
