When I was young my mum used to sing a song which had the refrain

Hang on the bell, Nelly> Hang on the bell,> xxxxxx is locked in an old prison cell,> As it swings to the left> And it swings to the right> Remember the bell must never ring tonight.

Does this errr ring any bells (sorry) with anyone? I think its music hall.
