Actually, there is one part-time Goon left--Eric Sykes. He co-wrote the occasional GS script, and appears on the record "My September Love" as the rival lover ("Just a minute--there's another man gotten on to the record! He's goin' up to My September Love in December--what's he gonna do? He's gonna sing to her!" ... "Get off this record!"--"I can't, it's going too fast!"). Despite being very deaf and having severe tunnel vision, he just won't stop writing comedy. (Nor should he, IMO!)
