Well, I'm sure Richard and Leslie had a great time before they split, and learned whatever was there to learn. It was a very inspiring book.

I remember Buffy Sainte-Marie saying in an interview that she's been married 3 (or 4?) times...and that each marriage had been great for as long as it lasted that way. She obviously had no hard feelings or regrets about the past, and was thoroughly enjoying her present situation, and looking forward to the next adventure. Now, that's what I call wisdom! I wish I was that wise...

The ultimate test of love is found within oneself. The beloved for which people search waits patiently inside them. Most just keep looking for it outside themselves.
