As long as they can prey on our fears they will do as they like in the name of national security. This whole thing, since Bush took office, has been about scaring the American public and taking away the checks and balances. Instad of uniting us in a positive way, he has the entire nation so fear-filled, he could just about say anything and most would go along with it. Those are the tactics of bullies, of despots, and dictators.
