Einstein also said something about not being able to simultaneously prepare for war and expect peace.

And, of course, peace, would require a whole different kind of economy with more equitable share of the wealth, unless the big corporations figured out a way to make it as profitable as war...but I don't think they are smart enough and I DO think they are too lazy to figure that out. It's much easier to stick to the "tried and true."
