Aye, Dave Bryant---Boswell did say "the best thing out of Scotland is the road to England". It should have been pointed out tae the auld frump that while it maybe wasn't QUITE the best thing, like many another good thing, the Scots invented the Tarmac! Even came up with Dunlop rubber tyres to smooth the travellers bumps on the rough English roads----:-)!!
