What a lot of lovely words! I liked this one: The symptoms of Information Fatigue Syndrome include "a hyper-aroused psychological condition", "paralysis of analytical capacity", and "anxiety and self-doubt", leading to "foolish decisions and flawed conclusions".

The Boodle-Ums were led by a chap called Smot, at least that's what his brother called him. Smot ( a certain Mr Toms)(it's a palindrome!!) was later heard to be playing in an English ceilidh band with a certain Mr Powell, unbeknownst to their respective brothers, curiously enough also known as Mr Toms and Mr Powell, in Devon! (with whom I was playing at the time).
