The lower deck in Halifax or the fife & Drum next door in the Sheraton are a good bet. Look for "The Boys Next Door" weak name but very strong trio. THey do lots of pop standard with a liberal dose of traditional and modern Maritime tunes. We saw them at The Old DUblin Pub in Carelottetown PEI, but they call Halifax home If you do see them tell them the honeymoon couple from Connecticut says "Hi!" Fortune's hand was another band that played almost all traditional celtic tunes.
