Just found this site, searching for Puff the Magic Dragon for my first grade daughter, who is growing so fast. I found my lyrics here, & CRIED at this line, as always:

"A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys."

Then, if that didn't kill me yet, there's this:

"One grey nite it happened, Jackie Paper came no more And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar."

Oh just WAAAAH boohoo! Honestly, I shouldn't even try to sing it for her, plus it makes her cry too. I guess the lines grab us a little TOO much LOL!
