Blackcatter,No. People who are just jumping on the O Brother bandwagon will soon move onto the next fad. But it will make for some lifelong Bluegrass fans, and there's nothing wrong with that. It happened when people discovered Flatt & Scruggs because of the Beverly Hillbillies, again with Bonnie & Clyde and again with Deliverance. Apparently it was Duelling banjos from Deliverance that inspired Bela Fleck to start playing banjo.
The great news is that you should be able to get some great deals on banjos, mandolins & Fiddles in about six months to a year when the bandwagon jumping musicians discover something else.
