When I was in fifth or sixth grade (ca. 1965) I wrote a song on the model of The Titanic about the Miss Exide, an unlimited hydroplane that had crashed. It was sung in several (SE Green Lake, Seattle) neighborhood concerts that year. I regret to say I don't recall the lyrics.
