Amos---"The Vagina Monologues" is a play by Eve Ensler; over the course of several years, she interviewed women of a variety of ages, backgrounds, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc., about how they thought/felt/experienced/were affected by their identities as women, specifically in terms of their vaginas, which I hardly need mention is a subject far more taboo in western culture than penises! As one line from the play puts it "it's like the Bermuda Triangle: no-one ever reports back from there"!
