Part of the reason the question come up about women's 'place', is that for many years in most societies men have attempted to define what women's place was! Needless to say, many women took exception.

I think it is sad that many women 'need' women-only discussion groups and identity seminars, but with only a small % of men..(and some women!) willing to treat them as fully equal/important, there MUST be some way to sort out their feelings in a supportive atmosphere.

There will always be differences in the way most' men and 'most' women see the universe, but it should not affect the concept of who is competent and able to make important decisions.

You think this sounds obvious??...you should meet certain men I have known!
