As Jean Harris said in her book, STRANGER IN TWO WORLDS, "Stereotypes afford us the luxury of not thinking; but, eventually, they extract the PRICE of not thinking." We men think that a riddle such as "Why do women have small feet? answer, so they can stand closer to the sink. If you dont dig too deep, that is mildly humorous, but, such things tend to perpetuate the negative side of the "battle of the sexes." Ethnic humor is the same thing, and often much worse.
