Interesting thread!

I've been wearing a claddagh for over a year now - it was a gift from my nieces and nephew but I never knew that bit about it should be a gift - it just was. Anyway, I've always worn it on my left hand, heart out, because I could never get used to it on my right, but have felt vaguely "guilty" about that(?). As if I was conveying a message that wasn't quite true! But if Moo's information is correct, then as a widow, I've been wearing it the right way all along! :o)
