Yeah Sorch, you got it. Although the nuts and corn thing is coming under scrutiny as having less to do with it than they previously thought. In the main, the disease of Diverticulosis is brought on by low fiber diets and so is virtually unknown in Africa and China. In the US it is still on the rise and as one Doc said to me, "Like gray hair and wrinkles, if you live long enough here you will eventually have it."

Since about age 35, I've eaten a pretty high fiber diet but before that I ate well, but certainly not high fiber. Constipation and bloating, often symptoms of the syndrome, are problems I've never had!!! It does seem that many have this but no one talks much about it and it's often misdiagnosed as happened in the case of the other 'Catter for many years.
