Congratulations on receiving the offer, Liland. I would do a lot of research, as it seems you are doing, before taking of to do this.
We had a member named "seth" who, along with his spouse, spends a year or two at a time in China, teaching. Here is a link to a posting of his, in an older thread: click here.
