Here is the version of FAMILY WHO PRAYS we will use in our church. I shifted the emphasis just slightly to make it about the whole family of God, in heaven, and the truth that in life, nothing can really separate us from the love of God.

The family who prays will never be parted.

Wars and tornadoes are taking our loved ones,
Leaving us tearful with sad, aching hearts.
But we shall join them over the river--
For the family who prays never shall part.

Satan has parted one from another,
Filling their hearts with his envy and hate,
Aiding their pathway down to destruction,
Leaving them acting like orphans who've strayed.

Families surround us who don't know our Savior,
And prayer is no part of their lives and their way.
When we adopt them, as we were adopted,
God's family grows closer to Him day by day.
