Maybe if they got a chance to hear the pipes they'd like it. After all Elephants are the only animal with a built-in set of uilleann pipes. And it's said they have dances as well. (See Toomai of the Elephants

Incidentally, the Irish word is "eilifint"; but the Scots Gaelic has a better look to it - "ailbhean".
