Do you just want to sort out how the Major Key scales fit onto the 12-tone scale ? If so, cut two vertical strips from a lined pad.

Mark the first one:

Just place the top "Doh" entry of the second one against the tonic note (of the required key) on the second and you can read off the notes and see where the sharps/flats occur.
