JTT says, "politics and music flow back and forth and intermix." Well, yeah! There are innumerable folk songs about the politics of the time when they were written, and I'll bet my guitar-calluses that those songwriters sat around with their pallies and had endless political arguments before and after they put pen to paper. Here, we are doing the same thing on a global level, that's all! I find the political threads fascinating because of the input from people of different nationalities; it puts things into a whole new perspective for me.
You've heard of the concept of the "Global Village"? Think of Mudcat as a Global Greenwich Village.
