From an audience rather than a musicianer perspective:
missed the fireworks on Saturday night cos I was having a great time eating and drinking and enjoying wonderful company in a lovely wee Italian restaurant; dandered round Dublin soaking up a great atmosphere - watched one guy get arrested, tried to get into numerous pubs.
Sunday - got up, bought some shamrock and watched the parade as it passed Christchurch; off to the Stag's Head pub where we spent much of the day in a cosy window seat; sausage baguette from Rasher Byrne's in Temple Bar, then back to the Stag's Head, and then a pint in Vicar Street on the way back. Lovely.
