Every year at Galax the program lists about 300 (200 bluegrass & 100 oldtime) ridiculous band names. Sone of the ones i have played in over the years (not just galax but various fiddle contests) The Golden Age Retrievers (a current band!) Lawyer Woodbridge and his Court-Ordered Wiretappers Bowing for Dollars Ben Borscht and the Beats (another active band) Otter Chaos The Grange-hall Flyers (a dance band from CO which plays in about six different grange halls) Pete
