A man's proper place is with the remote. Although most women usually know where the "mute" button is so they can zap commercials, in general, they don't really know how to run one of those things. What's the purpose of a remote if you don't use it to channel-surf? Jeez! If a woman has control of the remote, she might watch a whole show all the way through. That's a waste of technology!
