ever since i saw a guitar case being dropped out of the belly of a jetliner by the baggage handlers where it proceeded to crash onto the tarmac, i never trusted "them" (any airline) to handle anything that i don't want to have trashed. i'll be damned if i sign a waiver letting them off the hook for damage that they cause--we (they and i) can inspect the instrument before the flight, and then at the destination. any damage?...you just bought me a new guitar!
