I am a little uncertain about your meaning in the last two lines of your song. Do you mean "you are offering" rather than your? "Commitment" seems fine to me. Ounce? Drop? I dunno, you can throw a Thesaurus at it and come up stilted or no better.
(I used to have a copy of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, made up to look like a school composition. It was surrounded by the teacher's corrections and comments; the sense of the speech was completely lost)
