The Lavasoft program is called Ad-Aware. I think that may be the same program that Gareth was talking about. I'm also not super-impressed, but it doesn't seem to hurt. I agree that Kevin's problem sounds like a spyware situation and not a virus. And I don't think Netscape is immune.
